Brown Clee Primary School

The presence of Brown Clee Primary School has been a real encouragement through its life and witness in the Benefice. The children work with our 'Open the Book' team as we share stories from the bible, acting out the real meaning of what lies behind our faith. The school is so alive with God’s love and is built on firm Christian foundations. The values which are core to its ethos are lived out both within the school and across the community.

Brown Clee is a small (~100 pupils) Church of England Primary School in the village of Ditton Priors. There are 5 classes: Fireflies, Grasshoppers, Dragonflies, Bees and Scorpions.
The school has six values that are integral to everything they do: Respect, Thankfulness, Perseverance, Forgiveness, Compassion and Courage.

School and the Church
We really enjoy having the school join us in church sharing the Gospel message. We come together at all the major festivals, the glow that the children and their families bring into our church both in their singing and prayers is wonderful and encouraging. Their written prayers are inspirational they think and reflect with great clarity and wisdom. In the future we have plans to further develop our partnership with the school and to launch Messy Church and Forest Church.
